CONNOR SHEA MEMORIAL FUND

Connor Shea was a former Michigan Out-of-Doors camper back in 2011. In January of 2021, Connor passed away and in memory of him, the Shea family of Brighton has created this scholarship opportunity through their We Walk The Line Foundation.

This year, three campers will be able to attend camp at no cost because of this. This scholarship is for kids who have a connection to a military member in their family.

This scholarship is specifically for our Angling Adventure overnight camp week: June 21st-26th for ages 9 to 15.

Apply now! Applications close Januray 26th, 2026. All applicants will be notified if they have received a scholarship or not that following week.

> MUCC Affliate Clubs/Other sponsors

Other than our scholarships above, another way campers attend camp at no cost to the family is through a club sponsorship. A lot of MUCC affiliate clubs will sponsor a few youth to attend our camp each year.

To join a club near you, head to the MUCC website to see our affiliated clubs: www.mucc.org.

Payment for club sponsored campers us DUE MAY 15TH, 2025.

TO OUR CLUBS

If you are interested in sponsoring campers for the 2026 season, a Club Sponsored Camper Contact Form must be completed for each camper and mailed or emailed to the camp director. In order to secure that registration spot, we need to receive those forms before February 2nd, 2026. After this date, registration is open to the public, and there is no guarantee of your campers getting a spot.
